Handstand Intensive with Miguel Sant'ana
We are excited to welcome Miguel Sant'ana to Uncommon Movement Studio for a special two day residency this week of 8th and 9th March 2026.

The Art of Handstands (AoH) workshop is guided by Miguel’s elite level experience as an international hand balancer and teacher, offering a highly personalized and intelligent approach to handstand training. Limited spots create small, supportive practice circles that adapt in real time to each participant’s needs, capacity, and progress.
Miguel is Brazilian born and has lived and worked across Asia Pacific, Europe, and the Americas. With over a decade of experience as a professional hand balancer and coach, he has led workshops, retreats, and long term residencies worldwide in studios, clubs, and movement spaces. His work bridges science and art, meeting beginners exactly where they are while challenging advanced practitioners to refine control, awareness, and expression.
Throughout the workshop, you will explore whole body positioning, mobility, wrist and shoulder preparation, core stability, refined handstand techniques, variations, and advanced skills for those ready to progress. From first time handstanders to experienced practitioners, everyone receives individualized guidance and thoughtful progression strategies.

This is not just about being upside down. It is about balance, strength, patience, presence, and developing lasting confidence through intelligent practice.
